It is alive! Can't Post

OK, everyone, sorry for the long wait, but things are happening now. Dat, our developer, has created an updated version of WS4LSQL a while ago. Only now have I had time to dig into it. Sorry 'bout that, Dat.

The first implementation is here:

http://interoperabilityframework.info/ws4lsql.wsdl

The service sort of works, but the wsdl file needs work.

First issue: Binding: I've set binding style to rpc, encoded. This way, Mindreef accepts the webservice.

Dat will now start making the web service compliant to the WS-I Basic Profile. This involves migrating style to document, literal.

OK, I know the link to that WSDL-file doesn't help much by way of showing what the web service can do.

Basically, the web service plugin enables LSQL to have a web service interface ("an open API") to do stuff like doing a search in a LSQL database. Much like the Google api.

Anyway, the new plugin allows for some more advanced search options in the doLinksSearch web service (basically all the same as the standard LSQL api does), and introduces a simple new web service, the GetTenNewestLinks web service, which name should speak for itself.

Binding: My mistake. I reinstalled and now it works out of the box Cool
I do think there is something wrong with the WSDL-file though.
